Three hour hike up but we went quite slow up, only two hours down.
Went just after a snow so was very muddy. A bit steeper than we thought but a DOC hut at the top to write a little note in the guest book. Views of Canterbury Plains as far as you can see.

Bring shampoo and a hair dryer if you want a good shower after! Have powerpoints for hair dryers. Lockers are a $2 coin or you can put your stuff in a cubby outside near you!

Incredible place to jump, beautiful water, you can bring your GoPro if you wish, free t shirt afterwards!

Impressive sea caves you can walk through at extremely low tide.
Easy 30 minute walk, plan 1 hour return. The tides change daily so check online for when you can visit, usually only a two hours gap each day.

Free version of the gondola!
Good family activity. Not too steep. Beautiful views of Lake Wakatipu and town. Well worth it. Carpark right by the start of the track. Also has a turn off to Basket of Dreams.
