The last part of the track is following a long paved road. Not a nice ending of a great walk.

Email contact and pickup were all adequate. Location of Auckland office for outside the city centre is a downside.

There is a 30 minute drive from the Auckland Airport to our depot and we are sorry if this caused you some inconvenience. The stunning climb is awesome and so is the part walking on a small boardwalk next to a stream of rapidly streaming water.
The part downhill is long and boring.

Great walk, beautiful landscape.
I really loved the 4 seasons in one day weather. The track is really well maintained and the signs are easy to follow.

Caves and glowworms are absolutely stunning.
However, the price at $50 is hard to justify for a 30 minute tour with a guide who used his phone on the tour.
