The way to get to the start of the track is a beauty for itself.
A very adventurous crossing and very narrow gravel road. The track itself climbs through forest almost all of the time, and suddenly opening view to the great Rob Roy Glacier - you get so close - amazing!! Definitely walk to the upper lookout - the view is so much greater here - the lower lookout is rather far away still in the forest.....

What a beautiful beach you get to after a short walk, so many hidden caves and many seals around.
Very windy indeed - which creates wonderful sand turbulences close to the ground.

Way up was rather boring, zig zaggy at all times, but up there grand views over all surrounding valleys with a nice loop track around.
Must do when going to/coming from Milford Sound.

Even if quite touristic, definitely worth a visit!
Almost unbelievable nature created that - pools are so colourful, as if someone would have thrown tons of coloured ink into them!

The way up is very beautiful, not too many views but walking along natural stone steps, crossing little rivers and being directly covered in rainforest is great.
If walking the track, definitely go up all the way to the Pinnacles, the climb at the end is rather fun - especially for our little baby.

What an experience!!
The freefall was breathtaking and afterwards enjoyed the scenery while gently flying down. I was even allowed to steer the parachute myself for a few moments. Got a fully monty with handy cam and freefall cam and video - great memory to take home and share. Would have chosen a more scenic spot though if doing it again.
