A very Lord of the Rings tramp through the old forest.
Unfriendly trees with exposed roots trying to trip you up. Fantastic views from the lookout station.

Excellent views of Kiwi being fed, very active, also hand feeding of parrots.
A must if you want to see Kiwi, Very good for children.

Marahau - Apple Tree.
Stunning walk through primeval forests and beaches. Easy walk, not much climbing - stop on the way and have a swim - take trunks and towels.
Totaranui - Waiharakekek Bay. Short walk about one hour long climb. We went mid November, weather fantastic - best beach we have been to - isolate. Take swimming gear.
