Beautiful pool, good facilities.
Felt a bit penned up as there was nowhere to wander outside the campground (except town).
Thank you for your feedback Greg. There is a spectacular walk to the Huka Falls which begins about ten minutes walk from the Resort! There is also an awesome (FREE!) Thermal Spring at the beginning of this walk.

Rough footing but OK.
Nice beaches quiet + secluded - cost for 4 people for 2hrs kayaking and a boat ride was a bit stunning at $510.

Had a Toyota Hiace camper - the company that outfitted this van as a camper cheaped out too much - lacks quality - curtain retainers missing or broken - some well placed hooks & shelves would be a real
asset. No problem with the company Britz.

Good facilities, too many charges for services - once a campground is paid for we think things like showers should be free - outrageous kayak hire fees.
(the location across from the lake + walking trail were beautiful).
