Another of our favourite sites.
A lovely spacious site with a good sized plot amongst the trees. Great facilities. Very friendly lady on reception. Home made scones and plums in the kitchen were an added bonus. Very handy for walking into town.
glad to hear you enjoyed the scones they were left over from staff morning tea

The most expensive site we stayed on but you get what you pay for.
Great facilities. Helpful staff. Courtesy car into town was an added bonus.

Very quiet midweek in March so had lots of space on a grass pitch.
Facilities were top quality. Amazing grounds with walks and in a good location for walking down to the seafront (about 20 mins). Lovely staff.
Hi, thanks so much for your review. Yes we are not far from the beach, and you can walk along the estuary through the beautiful bush, to the beach, cafes and store. March is quieter, we are usually pretty full over January. Thanks again!

Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Helpful owners. Clean. No mosquitoes when we were there in March. Stayed 5 nights.

Good sized pitches separated by hedges.
Facilities were adequate. Seemed to be a lot of permanent sites. Interesting encounter with a praying mantis on the tap in the shower block.

Congested site.
Poor facilities - not adequate for the number of pitches. In a good position for walking into the village. Staff were helpful. Although we had membership for Top Ten sites it put us off staying at any others.

A bit old fashioned and quirky but had everything we needed.
Family run and very friendly. Spacious grass sites. Showers a bit dated but very spacious and clean.

Beautiful setting by the river.
Very quiet midweek in March - so a choice of pitches between the permanent caravans which were not occupied. Felt very relaxed. Very clean facilities. A bit quaint but one of our favourite sites.

Busy weekend so felt a bit crammed in as pitches arranged in blocks of four.
New modern clean facilities but when having a shower had to keep motion activating the light and pressing the shower button for more water.

As other reviews it is basically a car park with campervans crammed in.
Poor facilities for number of vans. However reception staff were very helpful. It was in a good location for catching the bus into the city and also for catching the ferry.

Lovely spot right by the harbour.
We were on pitch 1 and had our own little garden and lovely view of the sunrise over the water. After reading the other reviews we were disappointed we didn't see any penguins 🐧 . Very friendly owners and a useful cafe on site.

Difficult to find hook up points in overgrown foliage. Pitch taps had been disabled. First time we encountered sand flies.
