Not going to recommend it unless you absolutely have to stay in Wanaka town.
Better more spectacular options in area. New facilities but it's a hostel at night and music and partying around the kitchen area goes till 3am with lights on all night.

A must stay on the Pass.
Only down side is amount of sandflies so just be ready and it's well worth it!!
