Don is the most wonderful host we have met during our first 1.5 weeks in NZ.

He welcomed us with fresh vegetables from his organic garden. And later brought us some fresh peaches. The sites are spacious and each has its own water-tap and picnic table. There is even an electrical point where you can charge your electrical devices. The view across the river is fantastic. Would definitely recommend this place.

We did the Crossing on a cloudy morning which turned into a sunny afternoon.

It was a pretty tough experience but the views were wonderful and it was worth it.
