A bit on the pricey side but we had a beautiful view of the water from our powered site.
Facilities are very clean and well managed. Close walk to town. A great place to stay.
Thanks Laurie. The little bit extra is definitely worth it for those views :)

We stayed here for two nights in a power site.
A little pricier than some parks but well worth the cost of $24.00 per person. Each site is separated by hedges so that you can't see the neighbour beside you. Sites are roomy and each has a picnic table. The kitchen area is spotless with lots of grills to cook on and tables to sit at. Washrooms are very clean and a hair drier is provided. Showers are free and water pressure is good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Wifi is $5.00 per 24 hours but is quick and easy to access. All in all a great place to stay in the very beautiful and interesting town of Taupo.

Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Washrooms are a bit old and no hair dryer is provided. Some of the sites are very crowded. We were lucky to stay in site E. Very private except for a cabin beside it which was not rented on the night we stayed.

We stayed here on our first night traveling in New Zealand.
It was a great place to stay. The sites are large, the washrooms are extremely clean, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. All in all a wonderful start to our holiday.

We stayed here for 1 night.
It was a great place to stay. 24 hour accessible toilets that were very clean just across the field. Flat area to park the campervan and very quiet. Short walk to the beach. The only thing that would have made it better was a view of the beach.

Wonderful place to stay - beautiful unobstructed view of the beach, Sunset was gorgeous.
Toilets just across parking lot are open from sunrise to sunset. Up to three camper vans allowed at one time. A definite gem....and it's free!
