It is advertised as "wild and remote".
And so it is. Just a lovely place. No WiFi = relaxing. Friendly staff. A really beautiful 10-minute-walk across some hills and fences brings you to a lovely beach. The sunset alone is worth the 6 Km bumpy gravel road (To avoid 20 Km gravel road make sure to not take the road from Raglan). For me a little too many "don't do this or you'll be sent out"-notes but they must have had their experience with strange guest's behaviour. We'd stay there again.

Excellent spot before and after the Wellington ferry (expect 40 minute drive).
Lots of space. Clean. Friendly owners. 3 minutes to a lovely beach. 15 minute walk to the train station. 40 minute train ride to Wellington. We'd stay there again.

Helpful and friendly reception, lots of space and well maintained clean facilities.
Close to the beach, 30 min. walk to the city centre, bus stop nearby for those who don't like the walk. We would definitely recommend this camping park.
Thank you for taking the time to review Dunedin Holiday Park & Motels.
We hope you enjoyed the rest of your time touring New Zealand!

Nicely located camp site close enough to Napier for a day trip (by car).
Very silent and great if you can grab one of the sites next to the beach. Showers and toilets well maintained and clean (we didn't use the kitchen though, but expect them to be as well maintained). Great café - apart from their opening hours. 4 pm seems a bit early to close (that's the reason for not scoring 10, sorry) but great coffee and snacks. Would stay there again!

A place next to the road and facilities that definitely need some overhauling and some more cleaning.
The friendly reception and a cool bar / restaurant can't quite compensate that the whole place is not so well looked after.

Well maintained place with lots of space, really friendly and helpful reception.
Shower and kitchen in top condition and clean. Cool alpacas and chickens that will do anything for some food - which is also provided by the owner so you can't feed wrong stuff. Great place to stay when discovering Lake Te Anau, Milford Sound and the new bike trail. A clear recommendation, worth every $.

Well maintained and clean site in every aspect.
Great beach. Even a place to clean fish for those who go go fishing in the bay. If you need some rest before returning your campervan in Auckland this is the place to go. Friendly staff, always helpful when information and sightseeing recommendation is required (thx Ferdi!). Don't miss Manukau Heads Lighthouse and the peninsula!
There is also a lovely vineyard up the Awhitu peninsula that you can visit and do some wine tasting. thank you for your positive review.
