A bloody steep track up and down all the way.
Not a beginners track, offering bush and a lot of hills, the last part is quite beautiful (view to the coast and sea). Nice hut to stay in.

Walk to the hill opposite the lighthouse and climb it to get a very nice view.
Explore the beach 10 mins drive from Castlepoint (North). You will find a vertical rock beach.

Too professional.
Money-making machine! Good fun up in the air, but too organized. We didn't have time to say goodbye to the instructor (on our back) before he left on another airplane!

Please can you elaborate on what you mean by "too professional?"
February is one of our busiest months and there are occasions when the Tandem Masters go from one plane load to the next. This is to cope with the demand of being the most popular company to skydive with. All of our tandem masters are trained to build rapport with each customer and this includes saying goodbye after the skydive. I am sorry you didn't experience this and I will follow up your comments.
