Sorry to hear you were disappointed with the trip, February at the end of summer 2009 was particually dry and as the river is rain and snow/glacier fed, the flow was lower than normal however it's usually still exciting and great fun!

Our guides spend considerable effort to ensure the safety of the clients, and with a river that can change levels in hours, occassionally sometimes preventing a raft to flip means the adventurous in us don't get the experience we may have been expecting.

I'm also sorry to hear you were not happy with your paddle, we replace them frequently and they are the best paddles for these river conditions, had you mentioned it to your guide at the time, they will have shown you an alterntive way to hold the paddle that is comfortable and useful for steering.
