The only good thing about this campsite was the river and trees surrounding.
We payed $13 each for nothing more than a filthy drop toilet which neither of us would use because it was so dirty. A total robbery staying at any of the DOC campsites from Te Anau to Milford Sound

Very friendly and welcoming host.
Beautiful farm side view, alpacas and a horse at the fence behind the campsite and chooks and a rooster roaming around site making the stay more entertaining. Only $10 per person for a non powered site spot and it includes plenty of single clean toilets and showers, access to a washing machine and clothes line, a toaster and kettle. One of the best, if not the best campsite we stayed at in NZ. And not to mention, no sandflies!! Great value for money. Highly recommend.

Up there with the best sites we stayed at in NZ, if not the best.
$27 per person for a powered site spot and full access to clean and private toilets and showers, a large clean kitchen with all facilities, a spacey common area to relax in and a nice restaurant. You definitely get what you pay for here.
