We had a really bad "Welcome" here - sadly our first night of camping the "Host" seemed annoyed and rude and offered no helpful info.
Pretty riverside spot was one redeeming feature.

Fab Waikino station cafe at the end. Downside - one way or duplicated, some roadside noise.

Near Treaty grounds - helpful advice from host on local walks. Only downside is some noise from the road.
