We arrived some minutes late for the checkin but the staff were nice and helpful and we could still go on board.
There are seats that are comfortable for sitting but not for sleeping.

Amazing interactive museum and on top of it, it is free!!
You could easily spend the whole day there. Definitely a must do in Wellington.

We did the freedom kayaking for a whole day in the Abel Tasman National Park with Kahu Kayaks and felt very well cared for.
They helped us packing our kayak, we got safety instructions and some more help once we were on the water. Sadly, we had less time to kayak than expected as the procedures in the morning took quite some time and we had to be back by 4pm.

Amazing one day hike!
Try to do it with good weather, I am sure you will have a much nicer view. Nice that there are some toilets provided. Only negative thing is that the companies driving you to the start of the track are quite expensive.
