We would never have known about this fantastic little site if it hadn't been on your app, and we were the first ever people to stay there!

When we arrived the lady (sorry but I've forgotten her name) and her daughter who look after the school building and grounds made us feel so incredibly welcome. We were even taken on a guided tour of the now disused school building, which still had many artefacts and pictures from when it was last in use, which brought back many memories of our own childhood and how we were taught in England back in the 1960's.

This site is an absolute little gem and with water and a toilet available it was amazing value at no charge!!! Our suggestion is that there should be a nominal charge for these facilities, as the upkeep of the school and grounds comes out of the local community funds, so this would help to go towards those costs and maybe even help a little with the required funding for renovating the school building itself.

Finally, our thanks again to the lovely lady and her daughter who made us so welcome. The local community and NZ should be proud to have such people as ambassadors for their locality and country. I would award this site 5 stars out of five, it was that good.
