Stayed here in the past several times.
Then you had to pay proper prices. Now? I would pay $64 for an unpowered tent site in 64 years. The people on this campsite have become indifferent to their clients: people do come either way, we are the only ones in the vicinity. Not so: when we were on bicycles we just diverted our route and after two weeks in a car we stayed in Fairlie on the campsite.

This is a nice little park, very well maintained, very competent and friendly staff.
Fine amenities, good cabins. Would and have recommended this to anyone!
We went here also due to the reviews on Rankers.
Fairlie is, with a car, an ideal base for Tekapo, with their Tekapoan attitude and overrated prices.

This is a small campsite.
The staff have a very business like approach. Just pay and there's your spot. The amenities are too little, even for the small campsite. Pretty noisy near the main road. Would definitely not stay here again.
