Awesome camping spot!
Very friendly staff with lots of information about the area. Perfect leaving spot for Abel Tasman hikes and water taxis - also very close to the beach with beautiful sunsets. Great facilities also, very clean!

Great little spot, very quiet and serene.
Nice little restaurant there as well with very friendly staff. Few sand flies around but nothing major - we went mid December.

Bit of a tough track!
Only made it to the lower viewing area. Lots of beautiful little water pools along the way, probably the most beautiful part. Great for swimming.

Very limited number of sites (four) - but otherwise great for an overnight stay.
Toilets close by, but you will be right next to your neighbours. Beautiful little beach though.

Heaps of sites available, right next to lake if you want.
We arrived very late (9.30) and still had no issue finding a site (mid Dec). There are drop toilets, make sure you bring toilet paper.

Beautiful little park, great sites and beautiful scenery.
The bathrooms need an update but very clean and well kept. Internet reception difficult but doesn't matter with the beautiful location. Close to the beach :)
Thank you Breanna. We are in the process of upgrading the park, we are new owners :)

Probably a tad overrated and very difficult to get to.
A two hour walk if not longer or water taxi are only options. Could probably view more beautiful beaches in the area for free..

Great little caravan park with very friendly service.
Clean, good facilities and well maintained sites. Sites close together but not a huge problem.

Very tough walk!
BUT 100% worth it!! A once in a lifetime experience, no one else walking the track but us. Beautiful views at the top and along the way. Make sure you are prepared to sweat!

Bit on the expensive side but a very nice caravan park.
Beautiful grounds, basic facilities but okay. Probably could do with an upgrade considering price. Also very open which means limited privacy from neighbours, basically one big open field.

Very clean, older showers but clean and well kept.
Great service and other facilities (especially laundry) however the internet is a little stingy (only 100mgb).

Great park, very close to the water.
Clean facilities and free wi-fi available (although not the best connection - to be expected in the area though).

Wouldn't recommend doing the whole walk...
first five minutes you will find the caves.. then after that you should turn back. If you decide to do the rest of the walk be prepared to walk up very steep hills (for a very long time) to get to nothing special at the top - don't really see the point of the walk. The caves are at the bottom. Again, up to you, but I wouldn't recommend this walk.

Great caravan park for families, but way too busy and crowded.
Lots of kids around (mid dec) and because it caters so well for families there is a lot of noise. Obviously if you want a quieter experience avoid the big caravan parks like this. Still a great experience, very friendly staff and clean facilities. Wifi drops in and out.
Thanks for the review Breanna, During the December holiday period which starts around then we are pretty busy with families travelling around the country. Thanks for taking the time to make a review it is appreciated :)
Thanks

We came into this site late at night (9.30pm) and had no trouble finding a spot in early dec.
We parked right up against the lake, and had an amazing view from our camper. Absolutely amazing spot for free, breathtaking.
