Great campsite.
Very friendly staff and great facilities. Liked the fact that the 50 cents for the showers go to a good cause of choice, 4 different choices! Nice, remote location. Recommended spot to stay at!

Great view of Lake Taupo!
A bit expensive for the facilities you get, it's not outstanding. However, the location is stunning and the sound of the waves make the traffic noise disappear. Friendly staff but make sure your tent is equipped to strong winds! Altogether, a recommended spot to stay at!

It's an okay place to stay with a tent.
Not spectacular but relatively close to Taupo. A lot of noise from sheep nearby. Just a little bit above average, not bad and not excellent!

Sorry about the noisy neighbours, the iconic New Zealand Sheep are unfortunately out of our control but we are glad you found the short 3.5kms to town centre an advantage! We are lucky enough to be out of the hustle and bustle of town centre but only a 15minute walk to the Lake and local bar & restaurant!

Loved this campsite.
Lovely owners who tried their best to give us the best spot possible. Great and very clean facilities and an absolutely stunning view of Lake Rotorua. All for a fair price! One minor remark, there were a lot of mosquitos but on the other hand, this is to be expected when camping near a lake!
