I don't really know why we booked this holiday park, but it's definitely not worth being a Top 10 holiday park.
Wifi is only 100MB for free for one person (we're two). Hello? It's 2017!
We got two 5 minute coins each person for warm showers which is okay. The toilets, showers and kitchen area were a little bit old, but very clean.
But the whole area is kinda strange with all the permanent campers here. And there's not much to do here. We didn't feel at home here. It's okay for one night but I wouldn't stay longer. If we could choose again, we'd make our stop in Miranda. The price for a powered site (two persons) in my opinion was too expensive ($50NZ) for limited wifi and old facilities. Not a "Top 10" holiday park for us.

Our experience with Wendekreisen was almost perfect.
If you compare the price of other rental cars with Wendekreisen you'll get the most out of your money. We rented a small selfcontained campervan for three persons. It suited our needs (alltough a real toilet and hot shower builtin would have been better if you want to wild camp for real). The service over phone and e-mail was awesome and really fast – so at the end I would give 9 out of 10 stars for this experience. We would book again over Wendekreisen.

Dieser Campingplatz hat uns in Neuseeland am besten überzeugt.
Er ist zwar etwas teurer als andere, bietet aber auch ein solides Angebot. Das WLAN hat gut funktioniert und war endlich mal unbegrenzt nutzbar (2017 sollte das sowieso normal sein), man konnte einen Spa und eine Sauna nutzen, die Leute waren freundlich – wir haben gleich noch einen Tag verlängert und würden wieder kommen. Auch sonst passte die Infrastruktur: Es gibt BBQ-Bereiche, die man kostenlos nutzen kann, die warmen Duschen sind auch zeitlich unbegrenzt. Man erhält etwas fürs Geld.

We enjoyed our Kayak tour very much.
Altough we didn't see dolphins or penguins, we could get close to swimming seals. Our guide Tylar kept the mood great and gave us a good briefing before entering the sea. I would book it again, great tour!
