Not clean and powersite was not available so we had to pay for a cabin which cost $100 - too expensive and felt very sticky / unclean.
Compared with other campgrounds, reception wasn't as helpful either.

Great views that are free if you walk back - otherwise you have to take a water taxi - too expensive.

We found it extremely commercial and expensive.
On sunny days they are trying to earn as much as they can. Less safety instructions as the guy came straight out of one plane and into the next one.

I am confused as to why you think we are commercial and expensive. On days where we are busy, we have many customers passing through our drop zone, as we are so popular. We do our best to ensure everyone is treated as important as the next person and I am sorry you didn't experience this.
With regard to your comment about us being expensive. This is compared to what? Taupo is the best value place in New Zealand to skydive and you can often pay $50 - $100 more elsewhere. As we are the largest operation in Taupo, on occasions our tandem masters can go from one plane to the next without a break. This is I believe a reflection of how many people want to skydive with Taupo Tandem Skydiving. We are the only QUALMARKED rated drop zone in Taupo which is a reflection of our safety and service. On sunny days, we are simply doing our best to look after as many customers as we can and make their time in Taupo memorable.

Not very good value for money.
The campervan was very old despite the new camper shown in the advertisment. Not as good compared to other companies we saw on the road. Service poor too, we had damaged things since the beginning that haven't been fixed.

Tour was good and interesting; excellent guide who spoke well in pronounced english.
The only negative is the tour is far too expensive.

The campground wasn't busy but despite that we had a spot in the far corner near the old facilities - that should have been cleaned up 20 years ago.
We wouldn't go there again.

Great tour with lots of wildlife, scenery, activities.
On time pick up, good value for money. Well guided kayak tour. Excellent lunch and morning tea. The guide really cared about us tourists. Best thing we have done in the last 5 weeks.
