This campground has views of the beach with great facilities and friendly people - need to book early though as the best sites fill up quickly!

Great walk down to the Cathedral Cove with lovely scenery.
The beach is un-spoilt and the water is crystal clear. Remember your togs!

Although the weather wasn't great on the day, the views were still spectacular from the skytower.
Plus we had a free token from arrivals magazine that enabled us to go to the highest area.

We have a two berth standard campervan and are loving the experience.
We originally considered Kiwi Experience but are glad we opted for the campervan as it gives us more freedom.

Great fun and a great deal from arrival magazine.
Site area is very picturesque and it is also the cheapest bungy in NZ - still scary though!!

A great little system that allows backpackers to walk the Queen Charlotte Track hassel free.
The boat cost $53 each and pick us up from Anakiwa on time. The captain also turned around on the way back to allow us to see dolphins. Awesome!

We walked from Taupo itself with very scenic views along the Waikato river to Huka Falls - which were awesome.

Great value for money as we had the geyser, mud pools tour and show (haka) all in one day.
Great experience but a bit touristy.

This was our first campground in New Zealand and was amazing.
Right on the waters edge with spectacular views of the Bay of Islands.

This has to be the best walk in New Zealand as the views are stunning.
It's also less crowded than the Abel Tasman. If you only have one day then do the 6hr trek to Anikiwa - you get views on both sides of the sounds.

Great little campsite right on the lakeshore.
Had loads of extras such as mud pools, lakeshore access, mineral pools, swimming pools and steam - to cook! Great advice given on local activities.
