I have just done the 5 day cycle tour of Molesworth Station.
The food and accommodation were lovely. The unserviced hire bikes mean't 1 1/2 hours were lost at the start. There seemed to be no daily plan/ the tour was unprofessionally run. I would not recommend this tour company. Photo stops were not encouraged in the rush to finish the tour.
The scenery was magnificent and the area is a great place to go to.

We found the Adventure South Alps to Ocean cycle tour was a well organized but flexible, with good accommodation and meals and side trips.
We were first time cyclists and had a great time. The tour suits all abilities.

From landing at Mason Bay To Leaving Oban this was a really great experience. The guiding, food and accomadation was well organised and we felt like a family group. The experienced guide had great information
about the history, plants and birds. There was good variety on the track.

A very good experience. The climb on 1st day was through a variety of types of beautiful bush.(not as difficult as we believed it to be).Beautiful veiws above the clouds at the top and a lovely lodge.Day
2 Down was entirely different bush and amazing viaducts.(lovely lodge)Day 3 was a nice bush and beach walk.Good and caring Guides.
Yes - diveristy! Thats our little gem - we have a bit of everything - from towering tors and beautiful tarns on the ridge to massive engineering masterpeices you walk over (the largest wooden viaduct in the world) and the graceful Hectors' dolphin which lives at Port Craig and loves to surf the waves at bluecliffs beach. Like you said Owen - even our bush changes - from goblin forrests and twisting trees to beautiful ferns gardens below our giant natives. love it.
