I would defo recommend hiring from Gateway.
They are extremely helpful. When first researching who to hire from we emailed a few companies for information. Some didn't even bother returning our emails. Gateway returned every mail that I sent them and without delay. They were very forth coming with all information and really nice to deal with. The campervan that we got was fab...we were heart broken leaving it!

Unfortunately my husband and I found that Skydive Lake Wanaka was a little too much like a conveyor belt than we expected.
Don't get me wrong, the skydive was fantastic but then skydives generally are fantastic. I just thought that it was very much a case of give me the money now NEXT!

My husband and I went on the heli hike on Fox Glacier.
To be honest, the best part of the experience with the helicopter ride to the glacier. The guides were nice but we thought unprofessional. The 'hike' was basically walking around in a circle on the glacier and then off home again. It didn't live up to the description given.

This was a totally amazing experience!
It is such a privilege to get the opportunity to swim with these beautiful creatures. I would defo recommend it. Also, on our trip out we saw a little shoal of Hector Dolphins which was an added bonus. :) The guides were also great and really helpful.
