Pick up Auckland City...
car engine was not firing on all cylinders... told them but they didn't seem to understand! Drove North & worried about loud rattling noises up every hill on windy roads... couldn't find anything wrong but the noise worried me. Car wasn't same as advertised, Ford Focus not Toyota Corolla & had no power to climb hills! Drop off at Auckland airport 2 weeks later was smooth, reported faults.

Not what we expected of a spa.
The geothermal walk was a must for the area, but the atmosphere at the mud & sulphur spa left a lot to be desired! For the price we expected a more relaxed atmosphere & a warmer shower not being hosed down with freezing water... how do u relax with that! We wouldn't recommend your venue as a spa.

Our best 2 days in NZ!
Thanks to the wonderful crew for taking the time to talk to us & get to know all our names!! We've told EVERYBODY... friends, family & other 'strangers' we've met in our travels. Your activities kept the 2 'oldies' and the 17yr old fully occupied & inspired to see the area. We hope to come back again someday & join you again to see your beautiful part of the world. We have some great photos & memories of our time on 'The Rock'.

Great experience....
17yr old had a blast... his nearly 50 Mum had a good (if stressful) time too! Special thanks to 'G' for her support on my sledge ride! I think the length of the ride for the price is a little steep... more time waiting around beforehand than in the water.... & I missed the photos (except the one at the start) because I didn't do the 'surfing' at the photo point. Maybe more photo spots if possible?? Guides were well trained & I really enjoyed the traditional Maori info & prayers that were said!
