Price wise around Christchurch it can't be beat.
However being close to the airport the park was pretty full. We were just only offered an unpowered site but no big deal. We were allowed to stay til 12 so we didn't have to wait in airport for our last flight.

A bit pricey.
Hi Ivan - thank you for your feedback. Sorry you felt that our prices were too expensive for your stay. I hope you found later on your trip that we are very reasonably priced compared to other Holiday Parks in the area and throughout NZ.

Owner has some free animal feed for the chickens alpacas and sheep.
Good for children. Stayed here with my 4 year old free. 2 adults at $28.50 for a powered site. facilities clean. Ample space for large campers in a large grassy field. Kitchen / tv room small but ok. Toilets ample showers . Stayed in oct. only 3 other cars. Park seemed 90% empty so quite quiet. No sandfly issues after staying in Milford sound, what a relief. Owner a bit curt and short on replies, but brought the animals into the shed so my kid could feed without getting wet in the rain.

Kids under 4 go free. Powered or non powered it's the same price. Facilities best so far but beware.. it's sandfly city! Prepare your defences. Hordes of them!! Dining and eating areas very nice new and clean. Being the last stop it gets crowded at 6pm. Plan to come in early if you can. Nice place to chill in the lounge. No freezer only fridges. Kitchen well stocked. Internet horribly expensive.

There's a shower outside in addition to the one in the common area.
Facilities a bit old but ok. Toilets no lights. Caretaker here only. Unlimited hot free showers. Washing machines 2-3. Depending on capacity. Dryers $1 or $2 depending on capacity. Bring $1 coins!

Awesome place to stay in end October.
Rains a fair bit here. Toilets spotless. They really take good care of their facilities. $25 for both of us and another $5 for an unpowered site. Lovely! Kitchen block large and many fridges available and freezer too. $2 for hot showers and $2 for laundry and $2 for dryer. Very clean place. Only 1 other car and 1 cabin in use so we had the place to ourselves.
