If you want a great place to stay and like to meet a lot of people you can stay there.
Otherwise it will be noisy at night. It's great to stay for one or two nights. The toilet is dirty so if you need to do your business you better look for an other toilet.

It's a good place in Taupo for backpackers if you stay longer than 3 days at the camping ground.
The kitchen facilities are good and you can take stuff from the reception. The toilets are clean in comparison to other places.

It is an awesome place to stay!
The people here are relax and so nice. oh have a full equipment kitchen, laundry room and hot showers! You can have a fire place at night and hang out with your friends. The holiday park is to recommend!
