we came here in October 2015.
Hi Folks,
The place is spacious and we had plenty of room to just park our van right on the grassy spot. The staff was friendly and the facilities were clean and also very spacy. The beach with a large playground are right behind the fence and the camp ground is laid directly on the waterfront with a nice view. we enjoyed the stay very much.

we stayed here in october 2015 and came here after a long drive over the forgotten world highway.
Hi Folks,
The staff is very friendly and a pool is existing. The places were paved, but relatively small. The facilities are as expected for a Top Ten Holiday Park. Though it is laid right in the suburb, the costal walk and the bridge invite for a stroll. Whats missing is the view and some space. The kids had fun.

a standard Top Ten Holiday Park.
Hi Folks,
As we were here 10/15 a new Swimming Pool was being build. I think it must be ready by now and it must be a very awesome hot pool.
We had a standard hot pool, which was amazing and really relaxing with the kids. The playground was nice and the staff friendly. Though it was expensive and the parking place for our motorhome not very spectacular. The holiday park is setteled quite ordinary. Nothing special about the location.

The campground is well maintained and the anemities are very well maintained as expected.
HI Folks,
The BBQ was good. Of course the price is expected for a Top 10 holiday park. The location wasn't very spectacular. The lakes have not been as attractive as expected. We used the place after a day in Rainbow springs and headed further south after a good night sleep.

Hi Folks,
We came with two small kids. Apart from doing one or two walks, there was not much around for the kids. the staff was friendly, the anemities clean. But this is only a car park, to stay overnight and to leave your home in order to do some stuff. You pay for the loaction of the holiday park. Nothing else.
though it is worth to come to the tongariro. But may be think of freedom camping.

we stayed here in October 2015 with our Motorhome.
Hi Folks,
It was a little scary to go through the furth before the campground, but it easily manageable. We had quie a lot of rain in before, so it was all a bit muddy and we really had to check before that we do not get stuck after another night of rain.
But, the loaction is very nice, calm and relaxed. Plenty of room to stay were you want. No fixed parking lot. The walk to the waterfall is wonderfull and I really enjoyed it walking with my 4 year old alll the way up and back. Its really worth a visit.
The facilities were in a good shape, though we had our self contained unit.

A very quite and relaxed place. I guess it must be different in High Season.
Due to the fact that we had a membership card for Top 10 we received a shovel for free and got a trike for half an hour. That was good for the kids. Also the jumping pillow as well as the play ground were in a good state. The staff was very friendly and the fact, that a family bathroom was available was of great comfort. Nice place. Though we paid much, as expected by top ten.

Hi Folks,
The campground is very spacious and the heated pool was just awesome with the slide. We had also the chance to rent the kidscar and the BBQ was just great.If I remember correctly this was with real fire. The facilities were good and clean. It was a very good experience, as expected by a Top Ten.

We stayed here for two nights due to a diving trip.
Hi Folks,
We have been around in September 2015. The place is clean and the facilities are as expected by a Top Ten Holiday Park. Everything is in a very good shape. The playground is in a good shape. It is not a very special or fancy park, but a solid good one. The price is as expected by a Top Ten Holiday Park. No bad surprises, but also no god surprises. The camp ground has a nice size.

Was our second stop in NZ. The campground is a basic used campground frequented by many boat people. Had nothing special to offer for us. The staff was very friendly and the place quite clean, though quite old and worn down.

The staff was very friendly and the playground nice. The Kitchen is simple but clean. The facilities are in a good shape. All in all a very pleasant stay. We are recommending the place. As we were there in september and quite out of season, the place was not so cramped which was very good.

Hi Folks,
This was our first experience to not be on a Holiday Park.It worked quite well with our self contained motorhome. Up the park is a very beautiful large play ground. The park was quite busy in the afternoon. The people disapeared to the evening. There is a beautiful beach right next to the parking. As we did not need to use any facilities, it has been a perfect ratio of price/ performance ratio.
One annoying point has been the "public"-line to the ranger to get us booked in. As we did not have any mobile we tried to use the phone connected right next to the rangers office. I was told my mobile does not work. We gave it up in the end. Did also work.....

Was our first stop in NZ.
The staff was very friendly, but the price was too high for what was returned. The holiday park was quite used up and shaggy, though clean. We used our own facilities. The surroundings are OK. Nothing very special.

We arrived here in the dark in September 2015.
Hi Folks,
The place was quite remote and not much vans were around. We had a very lonesome place to stay. The Holiday park is right on the beach, were a stroll is quite nice, but not very fancy. the staff was friendly and the place clean. A good and clean gas grill was available. The playground was not very good and quite worn. But other than that a good and basic campground. Expensive as you would expect from a Top Ten Holiday Park.

September is the Off Season in NZ and always a very quite time especially situated where we are. The playground is currently being replaced. We do not think we are expensive.

Hi Folks,
We had a good swim in the relaxing warm pool. The camping ground was good for a night. The site was clean and the staf friendly. The price has been very similar to all other holiday parks. We came here because of the hot pool.
