Great little spot with a stream running through, offered a great respite from travels with a TV room, BBQ area, fast Wifi, friendly staff, stayed in powered site with camper for 2 adults and 2 children
, free showers, able to use all kitchen utensils, lovely gardens, no sandflies.

Beautifully presented park with TV room and picnic tables, good kitchen, free showers but cramped in cubicles including cramped toilets, free wifi but slow so we paid the extra to get more speed and MB
but this was also slow so not worth paying for.
Small grounds close to Christchurch centre, a lot of campervans next to each other, free food box for those ending or starting their trip.
Hi Michelle
Thanks for the feedback , I am sorry the paid wifi was slow , I will investigate this with our provider too make sure it is working properly.

Stayed 2 nights due to snow skiing at Cardrona, gave 9/10 as views are hindered by all the trees that make these sites feel like your own private spot, so it depends if you want a view or privacy - you
can choose your own site (this may depend on how busy they are), clean facilities, free BBQ's, helpful staff who gave a discount for 2 night stay, great views down towards the lake, would stay here again - may just choose a location closer to the lake.
A little difficult to find at first - from Wanaka take Anderson Road, then right onto Aubrey Road and left onto Outlet Road, a little gravel road will lead to your location.

Great location close to town, only about a dozen powered camp sites, stayed for one night, free showers, free wifi, great modern facilities, helpful lady at reception, tried to book helicopter flight
over glacier unfortunately weather dependent, close to Fox Glacier and walk to glow worms. Great pub Big Foot Bar and Tavern next door for meals - would highly recommend.

Clean and modern facilities, great kitchen/dining area, next to train line but train goes past once at 9pm and once in the morning around 8am, otherwise pleasant for just a stop over.

DOC camp ground, paid $18 for 2 adults and 2 kids, we stayed at the end of the road and the kids loved it, they were able to explore the creek and surrounds, very peaceful with creek running right
beside. Loved this natural site. Suggestion - the long drop toilet needs a solar light for those visits in the dark or make sure you have a torch.
Takes about 1 1/2 hours to Milford Sound in the campervan the next morning, due to some road works and stopping at the tunnel. Take some spray for the sandflies.

Stayed here for our first night in the camper, $79 for 2 adults and 2 children on powered site, shared gender bathroom, good kitchen, nice and close to lake and Tekapo Hot Springs and Snow Tubing.
Paid for Wifi. Walked down to the lake in the evening - beautiful views. Would stay here again.

One of my favourite campsites during our 2 week stay.
Great facilities, great views of mountains, paid $59 for 2 adults and 2 children on powered site, we stopped here from Lake Tekapo and heading towards Queenstown as we were doing the Jet Shotover boat the following day, so from this location it was only 15 minutes. Friendly staff and clean. $1 showers

Cheap, in the process of trying to create private sections for sites with plantings, long drop toilet - clean, no showers, about 15 minutes from Queenstown with beautiful views over lake towards mountains
and Queenstown. Quite, not many campers, easy walk down to lake, friendly manager and sandflies!
