Great tour!
one of the highlights of our holiday. I could not hear the information from the skipper on the upper dek of the Peejay, the noice of the engines, the wind etc. was too loud and the volume too low. The bot, lunch and guides were perfect.

- inspection was a joke, the lady mentioned several times that the van had a full inspection and that all previous damage is already noted.
A few experiences:
- camper was not too old, not new: 72.000 km
This was NOT the case. We noticed a lot of damage which was not already stated on the inspection report f.e. rooftop damage
- camper was extremely dirty: other peoples brown dirt in the toilet, vomit on de passengers car seat handle, cookie remains in several corners, black hairs on the pillowblocks and undefinable stains on pillow blocks and curtains.
- when we drove of and luckily for us spent the first night in the Christchurch area so we returned the next day to get misding items because they gave us the camper without medical kit (50 $ fee is you do not return it unused...) any cleaning materials (bucket, duster, broom), without any PANS! and with only half of the kitchen cutlery they normally provide. They made us go through their storage room ourselves. They did not help with cleaning our van! It took us 4 waisted holiday hours discussion, cleaning and getting the van the way we booked.
- the table top table did not fit to make the bed in the back of the euro deluxe, what if you're a family of 6 and already 500 km away from the apollo of their office and missing 1 bed?
- we had no technical problems with the van.
- beware that their free Auckland pick-up and return to the airport ends at 4pm in the afternoon, this information is only provided in a small handwritten wall paper in the office.
- we tried in many occassions the receive any tv signal, it did not work. A tv handbook - or any information on how to get a tv signal - is not provided.
- you won't find any information if the gas bottles need to be returned full or empty. Why don't they provide a information book?
So conclusion, we worked hard ourselves to have a fully provided clean campervan, Apollo did not work hard for us and was paid all too good.
