4 kids ages 4-9 plus 2 adults for 3 night/4 days at Lake Taylor.

Mostly quiet, over the 3 days we saw maybe 10 people, most heading to loch katrine either 4wd or cycling. 1st day pleasent but very blustery, 2nd day was ferocious wind with rain squalls moving in and out. 3rd day was phenominal - calm & sooo hot, water was cold but wonderful. Walked 2 km up lake side to v.nice fishing area. So many fish, son caught a trout and we cooked it for lunch. Kids fed the farmers horses for 2 hours.

Recommend - sun block, insect repellant (they're not too bad thanks to the wind), warm clothes & raincoat, book or 2, fishing gear, swim gear & swim shoes (quite rocky as you'd expect), spring/wet suit (water is cold), kayak would be great. Bikes for ride to loch katrine (could walk the 7k).

Can be exceptionally windy. Kids really enjoyed it
