We really enjoyed this.
Our first ime on a kayak and Brett and Kelly were great, all the gear we needed to keep warm and dry, lots of useful instruction and reassurance for first timers ( one of us being very anxious and prone to sea sickness). We were close to seals, the fish they were eating ( terrible table manners!), and many types of marine birds. Brett provided a lot of interesting information about all we saw and took some photos of us on our camera that impressed our daughters back home. It was a beautiful morning, the tsunami warning was withdrawn and sea sickness was avoided. This was definitely a highlight of our holiday.
Really happy we got you out for your first paddle Cath and concorded that fear!.
You guy's were awesome!.

A fantastic museum.
It was interesting and informative on the development of the region from Maori times to the point where it was in my lifetime. Which was a little disturbing.

My best day in New Zealand.
Great value if you value experiencing rare wildlife and amazing scenery. Sea lions posing on the beach a few metres away, yellow eyed penguins returning from the sea, walking up steep hills and nesting in the forest, fur seal pups and mothers lying on the rocks, stray pups calling out for their absent mothers and albatross flying above. I am still smiling.
