An amazing location, with great accommodation, facilities and fantastic food.
We loved the views, the relaxed friendly atmosphere… everything we could have wanted. We canoed from Whakahoro then took the jet boat back to Pipiriki.
Joe’s knowledge of the area and expertise on the river was exceptional as are his Jet boat driving skills!!
Our group (16 of us) were all impressed and hope to make a return visit soon.

Great experience canoeing the mighty Whanganui River.
Beautiful scenery
We had a great time – though I now know it is much better to be IN the canoe ON the river rather than IN the river beside our canoe!! We would advise to canoe with a group rather than go it alone -( we felt very lucky to have help nearby when we tipped out however this may not always be the case)
Oh and make sure your lifejacket is tight!.
