Excellent.
Stunning views of albatross and petrels very close to the boat, giving great photo opportunities. The guides would help to ID the many birds. We were so pleased that we returned for a second trip 2 weeks later.

What a great experience!
My wife and I were lucky enough to be the only 2 on our visit to Okarito Kiwi Tours. Ian is extremely professional and obviously has the interests of the Kiwis as his priority. He gave us careful instructions on how to proceed in the forest and what he would be doing. We were able to see 4 Kiwis, including 1 calling. Ian was an excellent and informative guide and gave us tips on seeing other Kiwis. I would certainly recommend a night out with Ian.

We had a very good time on Stewart Island thanks to Ruggedy Range.
Our accommodation in Half Moon Bay was excellent and our walk to and overnight at Mason Bay was enhanced by Furhana’s knowledge of the fauna and flora. We also managed to see 3 Kiwis during the day. They also arranged a visit to Ulva Island and a pelagic trip. Both of these were really good and Eric was an excellent and friendly guide.

Disappointing.
Although we know our timing was not great, there was nothing to show whether the Albatross would be there or that there were no trips to them. Reasonable information centre, when it finally opened.

Excellent.
Our first holiday in a campervan was enhanced by the service we received from NZ Frontiers. From the time we first contacted Kenrick, quickly receiving informative answers, to dropping off the campervan in Christchurch, we were very pleased with the van. Kenrick met us with the van, changing the time to fit in with our arrangements and carefully introduced us to all the features of the campervan. The van was very fully equipped and drove easily, we were able to take the van on back roads, useful when birding! Fuel consumption was good and a satnav and Kruise were provided, as well as maps and guide books. Kenrick was very helpful, providing an excellent personal service.
We would certainly use NZ Frontiers again and I've already recommended them to a number of people who are interested in NZ.
