Three day hike, a look track.
First day to Maori Beach is beautiful, amazing forest, we stayed at North Arm Hut, third day we had a mixture of forest and scenery. Very impressed with the clean hut.

Good activity for a rainy day.
Fun rooms to explore and you can get some funny photos. Maze is outside and took us 40 minutes, not as easy as you would think.

A very interesting tour about the goldrush era, what equipment was used followed by a lesson on how to pan for gold.
You can stay as long as you want panning and can keep any gold you find.

Jet boat ride across Lake Hauroko and down Wairaurahiri River.
Takes over an hour to get to Waitutu Lodge. We stayed there in the middle of an ancient for two nights, exploring, swimming BBQ and jet boat out again. Great trip. Bring insect repellant, sandflies are bad but lodge has netting on all windows and doors.
