Amazing location - wonderful views in all directions.
We stayed one night at beginning of September - one of only 3 campervans there. Facilities are basic but fine, long-drop loos with plenty of paper. It's approximately 8km from the main road, and the last 5km is a gravel track. There's a sign saying 4WD only in winter and spring, but it was fine in our campervan. There was one short stretch of road that was rutted from the rain, but no problem in the dry. The view and the peace were worth the drive.

We stayed here two nights in August while we walked some of the Queen Charlotte Track.
It's a beautiful little site, very peaceful and right on the water's edge, with extra space the other side of the road when it's busy. The water needs treating before you can drink it. The toilets are modern and clean. There is a path from the back of the site up to the Queen Charlotte Track, which is about half a km. You can buy passes at the Portage Hotel...5 minutes from the site.

Wonderful site!
Amazing view. We stayed here for a night in August. Powered site with water supply right on the water's edge. The facilities were spotlessly clean and modern - lovely hot shower for $1. No dump station, but we used the one in Picton at the Challenge garage.

We stopped here for one night in August.
Really lovely location - flat grassy sites in front of a small sandy beach, surrounded by grassy picnic area. It is at the end of a car park, but was very quiet in the evening and overnight. Public loos were clean.
