Very basic camping, a lot of bugs and yucky toilet.
There is a beautiful road in the mountain to get there!

Impressive display of mother natures work, easy access to get there.
Make sure you get there early in the day for high tide. Only inconvenient as it is very, very touristic.

Great peaceful spot with insight into Maori history.
Just be aware that it floods in the area and before you are there you will have to cross a few water spots. Spiritual moment indeed.
