Well Avondale.
The last stop after 3 weeks in New Zealand. Good points. It's near a bus stop, $5 pp to the city. Near Pak n Save for shopping. Level concrete slab for campers. Friendly staff. But that is where the good ends. The bad stuff. A lot of permanent residents. Unsightly caravans. Wifi would not connect and weak signal. Didn't bother any further. Facilities - shower is hot but barely dribbles both for males and females. The floor in the bathrooms were wet everywhere like they hose them out. I mean toilets and change bench wet. It is worth it for your last night but not for more than that. Oh yeah beware of the powerlines as you drive in large campers will get close. Probably the worst place I have been in New Zealand but in their defence I usually stayed in Top 10 parks.

Great customer service from office.
Facilities are clean and modern. Showers hot and free. Neat park with unlimited free wifi which worked anywhere in the park with good speed. Family bathroom required a key with $20 deposit, it has a kids bath. No real issues and it got a 9 because Rotorua smells like rotten eggs and you cannot hide from it. But all parks there would be the same.

Good modern facilities.
Hot pool is great and heated. Campervan parks not level. Bad when sleeping. Close to caves and booking. Whilst using showers lights will turn off as they are sensor activated when this happens it is pitch black and unsafe. Reception staff friendly. Most expensive site so far. $60 for 2 adults and one 2 year old child for one night.

Showers were clean and very hot.
Don't have to pay for them during winter months. Pin code to get in to park and showers change every 4 days. The slab the camper was parked on was not level. A little annoying when sleeping. Share kitchen is massive and warm. Close to town. Walking distance. Nil other issues. Dump station easily accessible. Probably the best park so far on this trip.
