Waitomo Glowworm Caves

It was indescribable feelings when we went to see the glowworms on the boat ride.
We cannot stop thinking what would be the reaction of the first man/woman to discover this sight. Although total silence was much appreciated. We were very lucky to have a very easygoing and informative guide who would crack up some jokes unexpectedly. However, its quite a long drive from Rotorua to Waitomo. The cave has good echo so christmas carol or private weddings are held sometimes.
Price was about $120 including Aranui Cave explore for 2 person.

ZORB Rotorua

Was playing Zydro in which cool water is filled into the Zorb.
Went with Girlfriend and costs $44 each to play. Before paying up at the counter, we are required to go through the health and safety questions on the touchscreen. Just an advice for hydro, make sure you have backup clothes. There are lockers cost $1 for 30 mins. We were picked up on a ute to the top of the hill. The Zydro experience was breathtaking but short. All photoshoots are charged $25 and are burnt into a CD. Definitely recommend for thrill seekers. But a bit dear and commercialized.

Skyline Gondola Rotorua

The mountain is not too high, the view is not really a wow factor comparing to the Queenstown Gondola, not even with par to Cable car of Malaysia's Genting highland.
Photos are overpriced $30 and with NO RECEIPT! We went for Skyline combo which costs $60 perperson which include 1 skyswing, gondola, and 5 luge rides. Big breakfast costs $16 and buffet lunch costs $25 per person. Better fueled up before coming!

Must go there early to secure your site. Great experience to search for the HOT SPOT and DIG IN! Remember to go during the low tides, tidal information are well displayed on the cafe nearby or spade hiring place. Must go area because its FREE

Skyline Luge Rotorua

Skyline luge has 3 routes: Scenic, intermediate and Advanced.
Absolutely fall in love with the speed. But the whole session which includes the run and the lift takes 15 mins. However All helmets had unbearable smell, owing to the heavy downpour the day before. So wear your hat before putting up the helmet. Just make sure to be really nice to the staff and they could surprise you with a Staff special deal!

We kept playing the flying fox and other facilities. Great to come with teens or friends!
