1 night for 2 adults in campervan in October 2016, no power, cost $16.
Main campsite closed due to problems with toilet block but site caretaker allowed us to occupy the picnic area which had basic toilet facilities that were adequate. No view of river but ok for our first night in NZ.

Well organised paths to all features.
Not geared up to walk through the cave stream but looks very demanding and not for the faint hearted - would give it a go, if I had the gear!

Good wildlife to see en route.

A really good walk as described.
Pathways, steps etc well maintained and safe to negotiate. Typical good attention to detail as provided with most DOC walks.

2 nights, 2 persons with power, $45 per night.
Campsite with reasonable facilities & pitches - level and not too close considering city location - 30 minutes to Britomart Centre by train ($5 single) walk to station from site approx 10 minutes.Staff helpful and friendly. Good location for end of stay clean up but not for much longer as campsite sold for housing re-development!

Well marked track but too long in the forest before the track becomes open with good views.
Otherwise a good walk with great views.
