Track starts at the Twelve Mile Delta campsite and was not too difficult.
Took about three hours for a return trek.

Went in the morning when there were not too many other visitors.
Lovely place with awesome views of the rocks. Great signage along the way explaining the theories behind the rock formations. Blowholes were spectacular to watch too!

Camp warden was super friendly and nice.
Drop toilet extremely well maintained compared to the other campsites along the highway. Picnic benches available throughout the site and there is information boards to show you the different trails available. Definitely recommended!

Lovely site to stay in despite the rain.
Wonderful toilet and shower facilities...hot water was very much welcome in the cold weather. Had dinner at the on site Mosoon restaurant but food was so so...our valley guide the next day recommended snake bites instead. But all in all, a very nice idyllic site to stay. Recommended.

Didn't get to experience it as access to Kaikoura was cut off after the earthquake.
Called in to cancel our reservation and it was very fuss free. Thumbs up to the staff! Will definitely return to try it in future!

Lucky to have decent weather on our trip out to Milford Sounds.
Free tea and coffee available on board...best to bring your own snacks as food sold on board is slightly pricey.
Hey Joanne,
Who doesn't like a nice cup of tea or coffee while looking at the sites of Milford Sound? Beautiful...
Hoping to see you next time!

Very first campsite we stayed at so we didn't really have any experience previously.
Site was clean and owner was really friendly. No issues with the powered site...kept raining throughout our stay so we couldn't really do much. Saw a few farm animals the next day just before we left. Think would have been a lot more fun if the weather had been kinder.

Campsite was situated a little further away from the town center so we had to make sure we had all our shopping done before going to the site.
Owner was nice and has a very friendly dog called Luna who loves tummy rubs. Wanted to have a picnic by the lake but was too windy and cold so we went back to eat next to our campervan. Toilets are clean and nice but showers are $1/5 mins. Nice place to stay for a night.
