Very nice and pleasant walk along a wonderful coast.
We started the walk at Wainui DoC carpark and went to Totaranui and came back via Gibbs Hill. 8 hours walk but worth the effort.

Nice walk on the hills with an incredible view of Farewell Spit, really feel like you are at the end of the world.
Can be cold when windy. Good track.

Very nice location, the road is a little bit difficult.
Direct access to the beach, little bit crowded during the Christmas holiday. The cold shower is very, very cold but there are some good walks.
