This is just a fantastic site in a perfect spot.
As a site it has excellent facilities, is peaceful and well laid out. It's a short walk to shops, cafes, restaurants and tourist activities but you don't have to go anywhere for the best show of all - avocets, kingfishers, herons, oystercatchers, even spoonbills, all on the tidal estuary right in front of the camp. Stayed an extra night and could happily have stayed several more.
Thank you Tim for taking the time to review the park.

A beautifully peaceful spot in July.
Has everything you need in terms of kitchen, laundry and (paid) showers but it's definitely a rural vibe, nothing fancy. Possibly the most tranquil place I have ever stayed. If you had a boat of some kind and fishing gear you could live off the land (well, water). Loads of wildlife right in front of you. Might not be so appealing in high season as it seems quite small and compact but I can understand why there are so many statics here. There's a decent Four Square a short drive away, along with a takeaway, and a restaurant that's slightly closer.
