You have to pay to get down a private way to the beach. Felt ripped off even though we followed the official signs.

Short (one hour return) walk to a nice spot to view the glacier.
Most parts of the glacier are covered in dark gravel and sand. Still some ice can be seen. Enjoy it before it is gone.

Very short tour of only 75 minutes.
The captain barely reached the Tasman Sea entrance and rushed back. Quite overcrowded on the upper deck. Staff were friendly though and the view was amazing.
