Awesome colours and great picture perspectives. Nevertheless the entry fee is quite expensive.

Nice beachfront with tourism activities and a great surf beach. The walk up the mountain is just so beautiful!

Boats bring you to diverse bays within the Abel Tasman National Park.
The skipper was nice, friendly and gave us a lot of information about the environment. We saw Orca as well! Amazing!

Kauaeranga Kauri Trail (Pinnacles Walk)

One day hike (8 hours) to the top of the Pinnacles and return.
We did it in two days and slept at a $5 campground for tents. If you do so: set up at 5am to walk to the top and enjoy the sunrise and an amazing 360 degree view.

One day hike with crossing the Alpines.
You will see beautiful volcano territory and lakes with impressive colours. Very tough walk if you climb up the Mt Doom, but it is a must do.
