Love this campsite...
great facilities... great firepit. Thank you to the DOC warden, Pam. Amazing place, we felt sad when we had to leave early the next day, winter time at this campsite was cool, only ones in the entire place...except for the Weka birds. Love this location and I have visited many on this kayaking journey. Doc campsites are amazing - this is a gem.

I stayed at this great location on and off for a couple of weeks...
it was winter so mostly I had the campsite to myself... fantastic beach.. clean and spotless campsite.. owners were friendly and full of local info .. always happy to help... thanks team you all have made my South Island journey wonderful...

This little place is a gem...
clean, spotless and amazing hosts... we have been twice to stay in the past 4 weeks... retro well equipped kitchen... great hot showers... laundry facilities awesome... 10/10... no complaints..highly recommended.. tiny but a great spot to stay if heading or returning to or from the Heaphy Track... or just visiting Karamea... thanks to all.
