Nice, cosy spots.
Friendly caretakers. Clean hot showers. Kitchen is ok, too. The place has character. Apparently the owners love to craft. Lots of recycled crafts decorating the entrance and walkways.
The pair of resident ducks were the highlight of my toddler's evening. Lovely place. Thank you.

Lovely green place.
We parked under one of the big trees. Nice hot showers. Has clean enough kitchen and washing machine/drying area. Playground has a nice swing and trampoline in it. Quiet at night.

Dirty ground.
Perhaps too many campers stayed here. Or people who just like to spend some time at the lookout? They litter. It is right near a cemetery. But apparently that does not deter people to come and stay the night. Not a big space overall. Just enough for two or three vans, perhaps. Unless we do not see further. We arrived late at night and leave early in the morning after some biking around. It is near the train tracks. But it did not bother our sleep that night. No public toilets.

Secluded valley.
For self-contained vehicles only. Woke up to beautiful sound of birds. Nature at its best. When you come out of the very small road through the woods, check out the left side then the right side. Right side is better, we think. Very bright in the morning. Awesome view.

Awesome!
Very nice, quiet place. But it seems very popular. We arrived at midnight from Auckland and almost cannot find a spot to park. In the end it was just perfect, though. My young daughter and I loved to hunt for some seashells in the morning. Then all of us took a short bicycle ride up the coast. And cooked lunch. The stars at night are amazing. Do not come here if your campervan is not certified for freedom camping. There is a caring local that patrols the area to make sure this does not happen.
Many thanks to the farmer who donated this stretch of beach.
