Climbing down to the wild coast of the Catlins to walk through a magnificent tidal arch is awe-inspiring and well worth the $5 entry fee.

A very well signposted and constructed walk around the cliff at Pancake Rocks made for a refreshing stop on our drive up the west coast.

Moria Gate Arch Walk

The narrow bumpy drive in to this DOC managed area was well worth it.
In particular, the Moria Gate Arch track was a superb one hour walk through beautiful forest to a breathtaking natural arch.
