A beautiful walk through a bird sanctuary.
It was pretty difficult to spot the birds as they are flying around, but would probably be better with a guide. But it was a great way to learn about New Zealand bird life.

Very friendly staff helped us find bikes that fit great for us, gave us a description of the trails and what to expect, lead us to the trail head and looked after our car while we were gone.

Track was well maintained, most of the camping facilities had drinking water and toilets that flush, it was an easy walk and had beautiful beaches!
Pretty populated in certain areas, which is a negative for us.
