Great site not far out of Wanaka.
Pulled up right by the river so woke up to lovely views and sounds. Toilets etc are fine. Cute ducks hanging around. Would definitely recommend.

Great spot - a lot of empty semi-permanent caravans taking up a lot of space, however plenty of space still available for overnight stays.
Facilities were great - cleanest long drops I’ve ever seen (remember to bring toilet roll/hand sanitiser). Need to pump water if you want to wash dishes.
Lovely and peaceful right next to Lake McG, great spot for stargazing!
$10pppn, about 15 mins past the turn off for Mt John Observatory.

Really quiet and remote - we were the only ones there which was a bit eerie but ultimately lovely.
Unsealed track past the Lodge. Beautiful views over Lake Ohau and mountains, if you want peace and quiet this is your place.
2 long drops both fairly clean.

30 second drive/5-10 mins walk to the hot springs/base of the Mt John walk.
Lots of space, lovely views, really clean showers and toilets. 1G of WiFi for $10 (5 devices). Slightly away from the town centre but easily walkable - lovely site really enjoyed staying there!

Beautiful spot and really easy to find, just watch out as the sign on the main road is close to the turn off so it's easy to miss.
Loads of space and really peaceful.
